All the design projects tackled by a student over the period of her academic journey are accumulated within ‘Task boxes’
All design projects at the village are real life projects and come from the Task Box. The design briefs are provided by the outside world, i.e., the industry, non-profit organizations, researchers etc. Internships and placements also come in the Task Box since they’re related to the outside world.
The Task Box team has an established network for bringing in projects for the village, they also assist students in acquiring internships.
Internships are essential as they provide a real world understanding of the design profession. For an internship, the villager is expected to work in the outside world for a stipulated period of time, to understand the industry. Internships pertain to four kinds of working environments
The Task Box team has a robust network with the industry and therefore will also assist students seeking employment after the completion of their journey in the village.
