Curriculum of Fashion and Textile Design programmes at The Design Village has been crafted by a board of industry leaders, with an aim to train students in the latest knowledge, skills, and technologies essential for success in a globally flourishing fashion industry. The discovery of the self in terms of ones ideology, attitude, skill set, temperament etc. need to be aligned to the awareness of the world around so that a designer is able to position themself in this world. The course entails understanding the mechanisms towards this, and helps bring students from different backgrounds together.

Dynamic interaction between people and spaces, focusing on how movement, volume, and light can enhance and transform spatial experiences. Students are taught characteristics of spaces through textures and materials, and learn to appreciate the importance of proportion and order in design.
